Previously i had just put up some old profile info. most of which was picking on one sibling or another but i’ve decided to go back and get more into me. my name is Ashley, nick name marz. I live in beautiful historic New Bedford mass. i’m about to get married (please don’t congratulate me) with two beautiful sons (Xavier,5, and Gabriel born april 18,2009). I’m an Aries.and yes i resemble that remark, thus my nick name. I’m 5’1 more to love, black eyes (really there black) and my hair color depends on how nuts i feel that week. BACK GROUND very wacky childhood. moved back and forth a lot. spent most of my time growing up with my beloved grand parents. was adopted at 11. lots of drama but i try not to think about it and just move on. i have many siblings including halves, steps, and one very loved full brother named Chris. they range in age from 38 to 16. i’m the middle child no matter how you cut the cake. i also have one baby brother that passed away a few hours after he was born named Thomas (he’d be 6). i tell you this only because he gets so little attention even in my own family we don’t talk about it so just letting him know i remember him. SCHOOL spent my elementary years in special needs classes. i’m very dyslexic. My family taught me most of what i know. most teachers just didn’t have time. till 5th grade Mr. Silvas class. it was in then that i learned to read, write and spell(not that well) In 7th grade my math teacher (who i could not spell her name if my life depended on it) convinced the school system after much debate and some long long tests. that i was not in need of special needs services. in 8th grade i completed all my regular ed classes with a’s and one b (in history) and the decided i wanted more. that summer i took courses in metal working, sailing, culinary arts, drafting, carpentry, and i learned to swim. on to high school. i applied for and was excepted to Bristol County Agricultural High School in Dighton mass http://www.bristolaggie.mec.edu/ . in my first year i learned arbor culture, small animals, large animals, Fisheries, how to make bio diesel ( and soap), flora culture, soils, agge mechanics, landscaping, and all the normal stuff too. i think i missed a few things. years 2 was harder we had to pass the mcast tests and where doing nothing else in school. i passed very well. then majored in natural resources. built several museum displays all of which are still up. other things i learned include but are not limited to Outdoor Skills, Wildlife of New England,Fisheries Biology, Marine Biology, Oceanography, Forestry, Ecology, Environmental Science, Environmental Technology, Environmental Interpretation, and oology (which i’m not sure is spelled right but it’s the study of eggs) CURRENT Not much to say here. i do a bite of volunteer work for my church ( the First Unitarian Church). spend much of my time at local art and historic museums. i do odd jobs… I poss as an art model for local artiest, i write poems (was published in high school, my last publication was 3 years ago, call it a dry spell) and restore and repair items. some where in here i have two vocal awards, taught Sunday school, was editor of my school news paper and worked at walmart but i’m not going back to add that in. LIKES other then the above listed, reading, writing, math, astrology, theology, animals (four cats and a fish tank and this is a slow year lol), lightning, painting, other forms of art, anything funny the Red Sox (Yeah i said it i meant it too i’m not going to pretend to like the Yankees i’m not a lair:P) DISLIKES Yankees!!! Lairs, doing dishes, washing diapers, cooking four different meals three times a day, computers (if it runs i will break it with my famous blue screen of death), soda (yuck), did i mention dishes FAVORITES color- lavender |
