MESSAGE BOARD

On Thursday, Nov 12, from 4-5:30pm, I’m speaking at the Green Build Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. Click here for more info on my talk and to learn about registering. I’m actually working on the lecture today…I’ve been asked to speak about sustainability from my perspective as a wilderness educator & guide and a global explorer. Should be fun and, if you’re in the area, I hope you’ll stop by! No doubt more to come via Twitter and this site once I get to Phoenix. I wonder if I’ll get to meet Al Gore? I bumped shoulders with him in a bar at Sundance in 2007, but I didn’t realize it until my friends pointed it out. JB

Good luck then. Let’s hope people who will attend to the event will get new ideas to improve environmental conscience and put then into practice.

Do they ever offer transcripts for these events you speak at (or are you, as the speaker, free to distribute yours as you wish)?  I would enjoy reading a transcript of your speech(es) in lieu of not being able to be there in person.  If you can, I’d love for you to post them on this site. :-D

I second xtina’s motion. Also, its refreshing to know that you don’t use a speech writer. LOL
Do you have a few ‘canned’ speeches sitting in reserve?

Oh a video would be nice for those in the northern states who can’t make it. I have been wanting to go to one of your lectures for a while, but none are close enough to go too. If you get a video of it that would be wonderful. Well good luck anyway hope things go well.

Yeah, I agree, it would be awesome if JB started making a video library of his speaking engagements, and the videos would make great promo pieces.

I believe that they are selling a video of my lecture—as well as the others—on a DVD after the conference. More as I hear it. JB

I was scheduled to be in Phoenix this week, had to change it to next week a few days ago.  Sorry we can’t connect while you are there. I don’t arrive until Sunday at noon.  I’ll be watching on streamed live though for sure.  You’ll do an outstanding job as always.

I’m going very well. This end of year promises a lot of agitation in my life. I love it. Thank you for ask, Esther. By the way, your little painting is coming. I hope you like.

About my birthday (39) (I love Birthdays!), I’ll go with friends and family to drink bock beer and to eat prawn. And, of course, to sing a looooooooooot. Maybe I’ll share pics.
